Town Creek Cemetery

Town Creek Cemetery opened in May 2006, making it the City of Auburn's newest cemetery. It is a carefully landscaped and irrigated cemetery designed for perpetual maintenance. Lots are available for purchase to the general public, including non-residents. The cemetery adjoins Town Creek Park, which is dedicated to passive uses. Town Creek Cemetery is open for visitation sunup to sundown. To purchase a cemetery lot please contact the Cemetery Property Manager Robert Heath at 334-501-2937 or email rheath@auburnalabama.org.  The City of Auburn requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for all burial types.

Town Creek Cemetery Lot Information

• Estate lots are available only in groups of four. Eight spaces constitute a full lot. These lots are bordered by hedges and are large enough for substantial upright family markers for the entire lot, as well as individual foot markers on each space. Mausoleums are also permitted as are statues and benches. Cost per space is $2,000.*
• Perimeter lots are available in any number. Smaller upright markers are permitted, along with smaller foot markers. Cost per space is $1,500.*
• Interior lots are available in any number. Flat bronze markers installed in granite and flat full granite markers are permitted on these spaces. Cost per space is $1,000.*
• Cremation lots in Columbarium units A & B accommodate two cremains. Individual bronze plaques with names and dates will be attached to the front of the niche. Cost per niche $700*. Columbarium C & D accommodate two cremains with names and dates laser engraved on the front. Cost per niche $800* includes inscription. Ground lots will accommodate two cremains.  All cremation burials must be scheduled with at least a 24 hours notice with the Cemetery Property Manager, Robert Heath at 334-501-2937.
