Purpose

It is the mission of the Commercial Development Authority to promote trade and commerce by incentivizing commercial enterprises to locate new facilities and expanding existing facilities within the City of Auburn. To achieve this goal, it is the duty of the Commercial Development Authority to acquire, own, and lease property for these means.

Qualifications

No officer of the state or of any county or municipality shall, during his tenure as such officer, be eligible to serve as a director. Each director must be a duly qualified elector of the authorizing municipality.
